Rules

Rules of the 26th edition of Naturalistic Photography Contest, 2013

1. The spirit of the competition is to highlight the photographic values ??of the natural world in all its aspects. Participation is open to anyone, amateur or professional.

2. The JPG format images will be at least 2500 pixels on the longest side to a minimum and a maximum of 3Mb 6Mb. Not accept photographs that show the date of registration or any overlapping.

Not allowed manipulation / alteration of digital images or photo montage, only accepted basic settings that affect the brightness, contrast, color saturation, sharpness and white balance.

In case of doubt, the organizers reserve the right to reclaim the original file from camera or RAW. Are allowed frames of the original file.

3. Images of animals in captivity are accepted, but this condition should clearly indicate on the registration form of photography. We will not accept pictures of nests or chicks.

4. The taking of photographs shall be in accordance with the ethical code of AEFONA, available at: www.aefona.org or the code of ethics SCFN (Catalan Society of Nature Photographers), available at http://ichn.iec.cat/SCFotografsNatura.htm.

5. Registration and submission of photographs is done through the Contest website (www.naturalistesgirona.org/fotografia). Paper copies will not be accepted. It is mandatory to fill all the personal data and contact information requested on the registration form.

6. The photos may not have won any other contests.

7.No admitted in Black and White photos and widescreen.

8. Each author may submit a maximum of three photographs for each category.

9. The categories are:

General, who get rewarded as faithfully express the utmost skill and photographic essence of the natural world.

Water, Nature and Costa Brava, Costa Brava Consortium awarded the photographs reflecting the positive relationship between man and nature. The photographs must be taken in the municipalities members of the Consortium of the Costa Brava: Portbou, Colera, Llançà, Port de la Selva, Selva de Mar, Cadaqués, Roses, Palau-Saverdera, Castelló d'Empúries, L'Armentera, Sant Pere Pescador, L'Escala, Torroella de Montgrí, Pals, Begur, Regencós, Palafrugell, Mont-ras, Vall-llòbrega, Palamós, Calonge, Castell-Platja d'Aro, Santa Cristina d'Aro, Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Tossa de Mar, Lloret de Mar and Blanes.

Photo complaint reward whoever manages to express the highest fidelity and the utmost skill photographic essence of aggression to the environment.

Ter, Ter Consortium reward photographs that reflect aspects of the river and the natural landscape of the Ter river and its tributaries. The photos must indicate the geographical coordinates UTM from where they have been made. Ter Consortium can have these pictures to publicize their projects and initiatives, non-commercial provided.

10. Participants must declare the works of authors, otherwise they are directly responsible for damages that may result from claims of the original authors.

The copyright of the winning photographs will continue to be the photographer.

11. The winning and finalist works will be reproduced in the catalog, posters or any form of promotion of competition citing the author.

The organization may have for itself presented works in order to promote competition and organization, without a profit.

12. The jury will consist of the following members: a representative of the Catalan Association of Nature Photographers, a professional photographer, an artist, a naturalist, a representative of the consortium on the Costa Brava, a member of the ANG and a member of the Consortium Ter. In case of a tie, the vote of the member of the ANG has the casting vote. The jury's decision is final. Registration and submission of one or more images implies full acceptance of these conditions by the participant.

13. It is essential that the winning photographers come to the awards giving ceremony. These people can designate someone on your behalf. If you can not attend, the prize winners waive.

14. The finalists and the winners will be notified by phone call or by email once the jury has taken the verdict.

15. The deadline for submitting photos is from 21st August at 10 am to 30th September at 2 pm.

Es lliuren els premis del 26è Concurs de Fotografia Naturalista

Les premiades i finalistes es podran veure en una exposició a l’ERAM del 18 de novembre al 17 de gener

Un total de 828 fotografies de 182 fotògrafs han participat en la 26a edició del Concurs de Fotografia Naturalista, que ha lliurat els premis en un acte aquest divendres 8 de novembre de 2013 a l’Auditori Josep Irla de la Generalitat de Catalunya. Aquesta edició té com a novetat un canvi en les dates, que s’avancen en el temps. L’acte de lliurament de premis s’ha avançat un mes, ja que normalment es duia a terme al desembre.

RELACIÓ COMPLETA DE FINALISTES I PREMIATS

Els premiats de la categoria General han estat:

PRIMER PREMI, de 600 €, trofeu i diploma a la fotografia titulada:
“Sapos” d’Ernesto Navarro

SEGON PREMI, de 300 € i diploma a la fotografia titulada:
“Cuando mi casa es un Sombrero” d’Antonio Liebana Navarro

TERCER PREMI, de 100 € i diploma a la fotografia titulada:
“Veïns” de Sergi Garcia

A la categoria Foto denúncia, el primer premi ha estat per la fotografia “Medusas de plástico” de Sergi Garcia.
A la categoria Aigua, Natura i Costa Brava, el primer premi ha estat per la instantània “Esquitx” de Francesc Balaguer i Burillo i el segon premi per “Roques eternes” de Joan Bobet.
A la categoria Riu Ter, el primer premi ha estat per “Un riu amb vida II” de Jordi Bermejo Cabezas, el segon premi per ”Salt d’estrelles” de Joan Masdeu Viñas i el tercer premi per “Mini puente” de Miguel Angel Fernandez Rodriguez.

Per categories, s'han presentat 55 fotografies a la categoria Riu Ter, 107 fotografies a la categoria foto denúncia, 162 fotografies a la categoria Aigua, Natura i Costa Brava i 504 imatges a la categoria General.

El jurat que ha fet la selecció de les 40 fotografies finalistes i premiades ha estat format per Jordi Rocas, dissenyador i il·lustrador; Martí Artalejo, fotògraf professional; Martí Boada, naturalista; Enric Cortiñas, de l’Associació de Naturalistes de Girona, i Ponç Feliu, membre del Consorci del Ter.

D’altra banda, l’exposició de les fotografies finalistes i premiades en el 26è Concurs de Fotografia Naturalista es podrà visitar del dilluns 18 de novembre de 2013 al divendres 17 de gener de 2014 a l’Escola Universitària ERAM, Factoria Cultural Coma Cros, C. St. Antoni, 1 de Salt.

Tot i ser la 26a edició, l’objectiu principal del concurs es manté al llarg dels anys, i és el de crear una finestra oberta al món natural per tal de que ens mostri tota la seva bellesa i fragilitat. Que la gent pugui valorar i estimar el seu entorn més immediat i, alhora, els espais més allunyats de la terra per poder-los preservar.

El Concurs de Fotografia Naturalista està organitzat per l’Associació de Naturalistes de Girona, amb el suport de l’Ajuntament de Girona, el Consorci Costa Brava, el Consorci del Ter i la Diputació de Girona. Compta amb la col·laboració d'AEFONA, la Societat Catalana de Fotògrafs de Natura, Picapedrers i Marbristes Balliu, l’Ateneu Juvenil, Cultural i Naturalista de Girona, Galeria 35, Microgestió, el portal www.fotonatura.org, Impremta Pagès, el Consorci de les Vies Verdes de Girona i la Generalitat de Catalunya.

The organization will not be made public the jury verdict until 8 th November, the day of the awards ceremony.
