The verdict will be made public on Saturday 12 December at the Palace Exhibition of Girona, under the Fair Eco.sí. This will be screened on the winning photographs, will be awarded prizes is'obsequiarà attendees with a calendar of 2010 with a selection of the winning images. There will also be a snack.



Moreover, on 22 December to 15 January can see the winning photographs at the Centro Cultural La Mercè in Girona. In the contest have done digitally and printed only the winning photographs, obtaining in this way, a significant saving of material, namely printed copies.



The main goal of the contest is to create a window on the natural world to show us that all their beauty and fragility. People to assess and evaluate their immediate surroundings and when areas farther from the earth to preserve them. The competition categories are General Picture complaint, water, nature and Costa Brava and Partners naturalists. As a novelty, photographs of the category Socio naturalists (for members of the ANG and the Ateneo Youth Cultural and Naturalist Girona) should be taken somewhere in the Catalan Countries, not only as the Girona in other editions.



The Naturalist Photography Competition is organized by the Association for naturalists il'Ateneu Girona Youth Cultural and Naturalist Girona, with support from the Department of Environment and Housing of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Obra Social "la Caixa" The Delegation of Girona, Girona City Council and the Consortium of the Costa Brava. It has the collaboration of Aefona, stonemasons and Marbristes Balliu, Gallery 35, the Cultural Center and the La Merced site www.fotonatura.org.
