PHOTO CONTEST RULES Naturalist 24th 2011
1. The spirit of competition is to highlight the values of the natural world photographically in any of its aspects. Participation is open to anyone, amateur or professional.
2. The JPG format images will be a minimum of 1500 pixels on the longest side and a maximum of 6Mb. Not be admitted photographs showing the date of registration or any overlapping.
Not allowed manipulation / alteration of digital images or photo montage, only accepted the basic adjustments that affect the brightness, contrast, color saturation, sharpness and white balance.
If in doubt, the organization reserves the right to reclaim the original file from camera or RAW. They allowed the framing of the original file.
3. Accepted images of animals in captivity, although this condition should clearly indicate on the registration form of photography. We will not accept photographs of nests or chicks.
4. Taking pictures should be in accordance with the ethical code of AEFONA, available at: www.aefona.org or the ethical code SCFN (Catalan Society of Nature Photographers), available at http:// ichn.iec.cat / SCFotògrafsNatura.htm.
5. Registration and submission of photos is done through the website of the Competition (www.naturalistesgirona.org / photography). Paper copies will not be accepted.

6. The photos may not have been awarded in other contests.
7.No admitted Black and white photographs and in widescreen.
8. Each author may submit up to three photos for each category.
9. The categories are:
General, who get rewarded are expressed with the greatest fidelity and with the utmost skill photographic essence of the natural world.
Water, Nature and Costa Brava, the Costa Brava Consortium awarded the photographs reflecting the positive relationship between man and nature. The photographs must be taken in the municipalities members of the Consortium of the Costa Brava: Portbou Colera Llançà, Port de la Selva, Selva de Mar, Cadaques, Rosas, Palau-Saverdera, Castelló d'Empuries The Armentera, San Pere Pescador, L'Escala Torroella, Pals, Begur, Regencós, Palafrugell, Mont-ras, Val-dark, Palamos, Calonge, Castell-Platja d'Aro, Santa Cristina d'Aro, Sant Feliu de Guixols, Tossa Mar, Lloret de Mar and Blanes.
Photo-report will reward those who achieve the highest fidelity and expressed with the utmost skill photographic essence of aggression to the environment.
Naturalists partner is essential to be a member of the Association of Naturalists and the Ateneo de Girona Youth Cultural and Naturalist Girona. The photographs must be taken somewhere in the Catalan Countries.
10. Participants must declare to authors of works, otherwise they are directly responsible for any damages that may result in claims by the original authors. The copyright of the winning photographs will be the photographer. The ANG funds available for awards and images can be used to promote the activities of the Association who are not commercial.
11. The jury will comprise the following members: a representative of the Spanish Association of Nature Photographers, a professional photographer, an artist, a naturalist, a representative of the Consortium of the Costa Brava, a member of the ANG and a member Athens. The jury's decision is final. Registration and delivery of one or more images means full acceptance of these rules by the participant.
12. It is essential to winning the support of those awards. If unable to attend, these people can designate someone on his behalf.
13. The contest finalists and winners will be notified via phone call or email comes through when it took the jury verdict.
