23rd NATURALIST PHOTO CONTEST RULES

1. The aim of competition is the highlight photographically values of the natural world in any of its aspects. Participation is open to anyone, amateur or professional.
2. The format of the images will be in JPG with a minimum of 3000 pixels on the longest side at 72 pp and a maximum size of 8Mb. Not admitted photographs showing the date of registration or any overlapping. Not allowed manipulation / digital alteration of images or collage, there will be only accepte basic adjustments that affect the brightness, contrast, color saturation, sharpness and white balance. In case of doubt, the organization reserves the right to reclaim the original camera file or RAW. They are allowed reenquadraments from the original file.
3. The images of animals in captivity will be accepted, although this condition should clearly indicate in the registration form of photography. The photograhps of nest or chicks will not be accepted.
4. The taking of photographs must be in accordance with the ethical code of Aefona, available at: www.aefona.org or the ethical code ICHN (Catalan Institute of Natural History), available at http://ichn.iec.cat/SCFotògrafsNatura.htm
5. Registration and submitting your photos will be done through the competition website (www.naturalistesgirona.org/fotografia). Paper copies will not be accepted.
6. The photos can't have been awarded in other contests.
7.No admitted Black and white photographs and in widescreen.
7. Each author may submit up to three photos for each category.
8. The categories are:
General complaint who get rewarded are expressed with the greatest fidelity and with the utmost skill photographic essence of the natural world.
Water, Nature and Costa Brava, the Consorci de la Costa Brava reward photos that reflect the positive relation between man and nature. The photographs must be taken in the municipalities members of the Consorci de la Costa Brava: Portbou, Colera, Llançà, Port de la Selva, Selva de Mar, Cadaqués, Roses, Palau-Saverdera, Castelló d'Empúries, L'Armentera, Sant Pere Pescador, L'Escala, Torroella de Montgrí, Pals, Begur, Regencós, Palafrugell, Mont-ràs, Vall-llòbrega, Palamós, Calonge, Castell-Platja d'Aro, Santa Cristina d'Aro, Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Tossa de Mar, Lloret de Mar and Blanes.
Denunciation Photography. This award will be for the entry showing an environmental abuse with the greatest fidelity and photographical mastery.
The partner category must be member of the Associació de Naturalistes de Girona or the Ateneu Juvenil, Cultural i Naturalista de Girona. The photographs must be taken somewhere in the Catalunya, Comunitat Valenciana, Illes Balears, Franja d'Aragó o Catalunya Nord.
11. Participants must declare itselfs as authors of works, otherwise they are directly responsible for damages that may result in claims by the original authors. The copyright of the winning photographs will be of the photographer. The ANG will keep for its funds the award ones and may be used freely for promotional activities of the Association that are not commercial (brochures, presentations, etc.)..
12. The jury will comprise the following members: a representative of the Spanish Association of Nature Photographers, a professional photographer, an artist, a naturalist, a representative of the Consorci de la Costa Brava, a member of the ANG and a member of the Ateneu. The jury's decision will be final. Registration and delivery of one or more images implies acceptance of these rules by the participant.
13. For winners, attendance at the award ceremony is required. If unable to attend, these people may designate someone on his behalf.
